Youth & Young Adults Ministry

We look to empower the emerging generation to be an influence for Jesus in every sphere of life. Our students believe they were not called to simply survive the world, but to change it for Jesus.

Emerge Youth

Emerge Youth is the high school ministry of Clayton Church. We are more than programs and events!

We exist to provide high school students with experiences and opportunities to discover who Jesus really is, and to cultivate and encourage students to become godly influencers and leaders – no matter how young they are!

At Emerge Youth, we are a community of high school students, led by an amazing team of leaders, who inspire us to be bold in our faith in the one we call Saviour, Jesus. We are committed to discipleship and creating an atmosphere that truly sets up the youth of today to be the best God has made them to be – in their schools, their families and their communities!

Corporate nights

There is always a buzz at Emerge Youth every Friday night during the school term. We love coming together and having fun! Our Friday corporate nights can be like a mixed bag of lollies! We run fun games, worship and explore ideas, values and faith from the gems found in the Bible – all experienced within the context of the corporate life of Emerge Youth.

Life groups

Emerge Youth values each individual and we understand that relationships deepen in a smaller group setting. Life Groups nights alternate with Corporate Nights, connecting and discipling high school students. We also make it a point that every leader at Emerge Youth is discipled as well, as they commit to the students of Emerge Youth.

Social Nights

We believe in the importance of community and several times a term we have a social night that is usually offsite. These nights can include activities such as sports, games and lifegroup outings that give youth a chance to bond and grow in their relationships with one another.

Emerge Campus & Young Adults

‘Emerge Campus’ and ‘Young Adults’ are the two ministries that work closely together for when you finish high-school.

Campus, is our uni-aged ministry for those who are studying and looking to connect with others who are in that same season of life, and Young Adults, is a ministry for when you step into the full-time work season of life. We are committed to Clayton Church’s vision of making disciples who represent Jesus to everyone, everywhere, with everything.

We operate every Wednesday night at 7:30pm at the church and usually follow this format:

First Wednesday: Service Night. (Devo + Random Small Groups)
Second Wednesday: Sharing Night. (Normal LGs)
Third Wednesday: Sharing Night. (Normal LGs)
Fourth Wednesday: Sharing Night (Normal LGs)
Fifth Wednesday: Social Night!!

If you are a young person who has finished high-school, then we are excited to partner with you in helping you step into God’s calling, to provide a safe and welcoming community, and to give you an opportunity to grow in your ability to serve God in all areas of life.

Emerge Campus

(Uni Student Stage 18-25)

To build disciples who represent Jesus, to develop university students into mature believers and peer leaders, and to create a community that builds Godly culture.

Our Monthly Program:

First Wednesday = Corporate Service Night (Worship, sharing, life groups, supper)

Second Wednesday = Life Groups

Third Wednesday = Life Groups

Fourth Wednesday = Life Groups

Fifth Wednesday, if there is one, Social Night.

Young Adults

(Post-Study and Working 25-32)

Vision for Young Adults:
To build disciples who represent Jesus, to develop young adults into mature leaders, and to create a community that builds Godly culture.

Main Leaders: Kenneth & Samantha Wong and William Ting

We meet every Wednesday, 7:30 pm at leader’s houses.

Our Monthly Program:

First Wednesday = Corporate Service Night at the church! (Worship, sharing, life groups, supper)

Second Wednesday = Life Groups in homes

Third Wednesday = Life Groups in homes

Fourth Wednesday = Life Groups in homes

Fifth Wednesday, if there is one, Social Night.
