Playgroup

A place of belonging, support, and encouragement for parents with toddlers

For over 40 years, our Playgroup has been a haven for parents with children aged 0–4.

Our dedicated volunteer team provides a warm, safe, and structured environment where children learn through play, enhancing their social, motor, and cognitive skills.

Parents, especially first-timers, find support for the challenges of parenthood while building connections with other families and accessing community resources.

Our daily programs include

Clayton Church Playgroup is a member of Playgroup Victoria.

2025 Schedule

  • When: Thursdays | 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM
    During school terms (Starting February 6, 2025)

  • Where: Clayton Church of Christ, Room 1
    25 Burton Avenue, Clayton
  • Fees: $3 per family to support operating costs

Join us!

  • Registration: No pre-registration is required. Simply sign up on the day you attend.
  • Waiting List: If a session is fully booked, you’ll be added to the waiting list and notified of any updates.

Helpful
information

Parking

  • Limited on-site parking available
  • 2-hour parking in nearby residential areas and the Shopping Centre
  • 3-hour parking at the Community Centre (Library/Pool area)

Duty of Care

  • Parents/caregivers are responsible for their children at all times
  • Please inform us of:
    – Extended absences (e.g., traveling)
    – Infectious illnesses or special needs
  • For the health of all, refrain from attending if your child is unwell

Volunteers

  • All volunteers have a current, approved Working With Children Check
